Context and Design Intent

  • Create a storage-efficient galley kitchen organised around food storage, washing, preparation, cooking and serving.
  • This file is the authoritative requirements record for this area. The initial draft extracts known points from 10 - Requirements/00 - Renovation Discussion Summary.md; later merges must follow 02 - AI Collaboration Rules.md.

  • KIT-NN-006 — Provide water supply and wastewater drainage for the water dispenser.

Strongly Preferred

  • KIT-SP-002 — Position the sink near the refrigerator and preparation zone and provide a dry pantry.

Detailed requirements and coordination

Provisional Ideas

  • KIT-P-007 — Consider a pot filler beside the hob.

Questions for the Interior Designer

  • What meals and cooking styles create the highest heat, smoke or grease load?
  • List all countertop, built-in and occasionally used appliances.
  • What pantry categories and quantities must be stored, and what should remain visible?

Whole-Home Coordination

  • Refer to 10 - Requirements/01 - Whole-Home Systems Requirements.md for shared electrical, network, plumbing, AC, accessibility and service-access requirements.
